4 SALE - Winner of
COLOSSUS 2004
Congratualtions to '4 SALE' who win $500 worth
of recording from Alchemy Recordings.
Second place was 'SWEET
PEA' who won a $40 gift voucher from Narellan Town Centre.
All 6 bands in the final recieved a box of
12 Krispy Kreme Doughnuts.
Over 300 people gathered at the Camden Civic
Centre to watch the final 6 bands battle out the final. But it
soon became obvious that the best band was saved for last. The
final band for the night, '4 Sale' recieved a huge response from
the crowd and
the judges agreed. Awarding them as the winners.
"4 Sale" would make a great buy for any smart
record label.
It became a repeat of HEAT 2, with SWEET PEA
again taking out second place.
So Colossus 2004 comes to an end :(

John Howard and Colossus
Someone must have advised the trendy PM that if you want
to make a cool impression, you should arrive late to parties.
Unfortunately the PM took this advise and arrived
at the Camden Civic
Centre a whole day too late. Oops!!! Clearly
embarrassed he snuck into the National Launch of Australia's
Biggest Morning Tea, to help raise some much needed funds for
Cancer Research.
So Johnny, here is some advice. Get along to the Camden Civic
Centre at 6:45pm on the 28th of May 2004 for Heat 2.
Colossus just keeps getting bigger.
The winners of heat 1 will be published
online once the outcome is declared official.

Boys!
Need something to wear tonight to
impress the chicks?
Quick, there is still time. Hop on over
to Today's
Man, upper
level of Macarthur Square and dress yourself
in stlye.
Who knows, after Colossus, you might be spending some time
at Greater
Union Campbelltown with that special girl.
Girls also throw themselves at muso's so head
on over to Jam
Studios and purchase a guitar pack. Then go to Alchemy
Recordings at Cobbitty an record a love
song in their fantastic music studio.
Oh wait. Girls don't like guys,
they like cars and money, so start
your savings with a term deposit at Macarthur Credit
Union. Then you can buy some furniture from Brians
Furniture 1 for your new home at Harrington
Park.
Don't just live together, please your Mum and
get married at one of Camden's wonderfull churches or parks and have
your wedding reception at the Camden
Civic Centre.
Then ring all your friends and tell them the good news
on your Telstra Pre-Paid Plus mobile phone.
Whilst driving past Narellan Town Centre on
the way to your honeymoon destination, you get caught in a
traffic jam. You turn on C91.3 to help pass the
time and because the rock and pop they are playing is so good
you turn the volume right up.
Boom!!!!
Your 4 x 12 inch subwoofers blow your boot
lid high into the air. Your wife is not impressed,
but you know the answer. Weld On Wheels comes
to the rescue welding your boot shut. Better than new!!! (no
more annoying rattles
you see). The Technical Crew from Picton High School who
just happen to be walking past volunteer to adjust your amps
settings, so this embarrasing situation never happens again.
Unfortunately the honeymoon isn't as romantic
as it could have been. It was because you discovered room service
left a copy of the Macarthur
Advertiser in your hotel room. You end
up spending the whole weekend reading about local news and events. You didn't even realise your bride
left along time ago carrying your last box of Krispy Kreme
Doughnuts.
Its definately been A Red Letter Day.
All this because of a shameless plug for the sponsors,
by
GALAHs Australia.
