Camden Civic Centre respects users right to privacy as declared by New South Wales, The Commonwealth of Australia and International Law.

As a general rule, we do not collect personal information about you when you visit our site. You can visit our site without telling us who you are or revealing other personal information.

The only personal information we receive is that provided willingly by the user through an online form or email that must be completed and then submitted by the user. At no time is a user obliged to submit their details through this site. All information collected will be kept in accordance with the policies of The Council of Camden.

It must be remembered that the internet is not an entirely secure information medium. Undesirables may unlawfully intercept, monitor or disrupt users activities. Though the risk is low, this should be considered when sending personal information online.

The Camden Civic Centre does not actively monitor your browsing behaviour, however the Internet Service Provider may record the following for statistical purposes:

* Top level domain name from which you access the internet (eg. .com, .gov, .net, .edu, .au, .nz)
* The type and version of browser you used to access the site.
* The time and date the site was accessed.
* The pages accessed and the files downloaded.
* The previous internet address that linked you to our site.

This information is used to create summary statistics to identify the number of visitors to the different sections of our site, allowing us to determine the most and least used sections. No attempt will be made to identify users or their browsing activities, except in the unlikely event of an investigation, where a law enforcement agency may exercise a warrant to inspect the Internet Service Provider's logs.
