Worlds Collide is coming to Camden Civic Centre this October for a FREE concert!
Worlds Collide is a fusion of cultures that invites audiences to move their bodies and open their minds to the new sounds of Western Sydney, fusing hip hop, African percussion, soaring vocals from the Silk Road and rock guitars. Worlds Collide is a mix of Fela Kuti, KISS and Ice T with 'groove' as the foundation for the social conscious lyrics from the streets of Mt Druitt.
Featuring hip hop rhymes of Mt Druitt’s Esky the Emcee; soaring vocals of Uyghur Bard Shohrat Tursun; melodic hooks by Blue Mary’s Maria Mitar; African chant and percussion of Yaw Derkyi; Bass grooves of Jonathan Nanlohy and Latin beats of Juan Mullet, all under the influence of music producer Richard Petkovic from Cultural Arts Collective.
