Adjacent to the entry to the venue and adjoined to the Civic Foyer, the new Terrace may be used as an extension to your event or hired exclusively for a small function or event. Ideal for intimate cocktail functions, pre-show beverages, presentations, the Terrace is a great space for an acoustic performance, product launch or as part of a mini market.

Do I have to hire the Terrace?

No. If you are hiring the Auditorium, Gallery or Civic Foyer, there is no obligation to hire the Terrace space as well. It's entirely up to you, and the vision you have for your event.

Can the Terrace be combined with other spaces?

Yes. The Terrace is located on the Upper Level and works seamlessly alongside the Auditorium, Civic Foyer, Gallery and other areas on this level. This makes it perfect for multi-room events or exhibitions requiring breakout or complementary spaces.

Is the Terrace accessible?

Yes. The entire venue is serviced by ramps and is accessible for guests of all abilities. Guests can reach the Terrace via the Civic Foyer and, if assistance is required, our staff are happy to help where needed. The Terrace is also located close to bar and bathroom facilities.

Is the Terrace undercover? What if it rains?

Part of the Terrace is covered by the building's awning, offering a degree of protection from the elements. Please feel free to discuss any concerns regarding weather conditions ahead of your event with our team.
